11^TH GRADUATION CEREMONY(PHYSICAL)

Karatina University is pleased to announce the 11^th Graduation Ceremony. The Ceremony will be physical and shall be held at Karatina University Main Campus on Friday, 24^th November 2023 at 9.00 a.m.

All graduands are advised to take note of the following pertinent information: 

• Confirmation of Results and Names: The list of graduands will be available on the University website: www.karu.ac.ke from Monday 30^th October 2023. Confirmation of examination results, accuracy, and order of names SHOULD be made with the respective Deans of Schools latest by Friday 17^th November 2023 to allow for the production of certificates. 

• Clearance: All graduands are expected to clear ONLINE with the respective Departments of the University by Friday 17^th November 2023 failure to which their names will be struck off the graduation list. 

• Graduation Fees: Graduands are required to pay Alumni fees of Ksh1,000 in addition to convocation and Gown fees as follows:

i) Diploma –KES 4,500.00;

ii) Undergraduate- KES 5,500.00;

iii) Masters–KES 6,500.00;

iv) PhD-KES 8,500.00.

• Academic Attire: The attire will be issued from respective schools beginning Friday 17^th November 2023 (during working hours) upon full clearance and payment of graduation fees.

• Payments in favour of Karatina University: Equity Bank: Account Number: 0040298291603 (Karatina Branch) or Cooperative Bank: Account Number: 01129059776700 (Karatina Branch).

• Rehearsal: The rehearsal is an integral part of the graduation ceremony and all graduands MUST attend the rehearsal on Thursday 23^rd November 2023 at 10.00 am at the Main Campus.

• Return of Gowns: All graduands are expected to return the academic attire by Monday 4^th December 2023. A penalty of KES.500.00 per day shall be levied for any attire returned after the deadline.

• Invitation Cards: All Graduands will receive invitation cards for circulation to friends and relatives.
