Karatina University is proud to announce that Dr. Nyabisi Mengo, a lecturer in the School of Business, Department of Tourism and Hospitality, was recently recognized for research excellence during the International Visiting Scholar Research Showcase held at the University of South Florida (USF), Tampa, USA.
Dr. Mengo is currently serving as a Visiting Scholar at the University of South Florida, where she is engaged in impactful research and academic collaboration. The showcase, organized by USF World, brought together international scholars from diverse disciplines to present their ongoing work and share their research contributions with the university community.
Among the many distinguished scholars in attendance, Dr. Mengo’s project titled “AI Influencers Vs Human Influencers: Redefining Digital Consumer Behavior and Marketing Strategies in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” earned her second place in the Research Award category, in recognition of her outstanding scholarly presentation. Her work was lauded for its relevance, academic rigor, and potential for global impact.
