Open and Past Tenders

Interested and eligible contractors/suppliers may view and download tender documents free of charge from the  University’s website: www.karu.ac.ke or the PPIP tender portal  https://www.tenders.go.ke  Enquiries  may be sent  via email  to procurement@karu.ac.ke

Prices quoted should be inclusive of all relevant taxes. The tender prices must be quoted in Kenya shillings and shall remain valid for 120 days from the date of tender opening. Tender Security shall remain valid for 30 days beyond the validity of tender prices.

Completed tender documents should be deposited in the  Tender Box placed at the  Main Administration Block at Karatina University (Main Campus) on or before the closing date and time as indicated in the tender document. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The tenders MUST be submitted in two copies, one marked “ORIGINAL” and the other one marked “COPY” enclosed in a waterproof material for fumigation purposes after the closing to prevent the spread of COVID  19  Virus. Sealed tenders must  be marked with the Tender name and  reference number and  addressed to:

Tenders will be opened as scheduled above, opening will take place in the  Conference Hall at the Main Campus, Kagochi, Karatina. Bidders or their representatives are invited to witness the opening of the tenders.
