The Planning and Administration section today, Wednesday, 31st August 2022, held an onboarding Workshop for new members of staff who joined the institution in 2022. Led by the Registrar (Planning and Administration), Dr. Humphrey Omondi, members present were inducted into the Karatina University strategic direction (Historical background, Vision, Mission, Core Values and the Corporate Strategy Map), relevant policies of reference (Constitution of Kenya 2010, Human Resource Policy, Code of Conduct and Ethics, Employment Act 2012 among others), Quality Management System (Quality Policy Statement, QMS Context, Procedure Manual, Risk Register and Opportunity Assessment, Quality Objectives), Service Charter,
Performance Management and Appraisals, interpersonal relationships, communication, etiquette and good grooming among others. The inducted staff are:
