Karatina University is pleased to announce the 14th Graduation Ceremony. The ceremony shall be held at Karatina University Main Campus, Graduation Square, on Thursday, 5th November 2026 at 9:00 a.m.

All graduands are advised to take note of the following IMPORTANT information.

Please observe each deadline carefully. The University will not be able to make exceptions once the listed dates have passed.

Confirmation of Results and Names

The list of graduands will be available on the Student Portal from Monday 19th October 2026. Confirmation of examination results, accuracy and order of names SHOULD be made with the respective Deans of Schools latest by Thursday 29th October 2026 to allow for the production of certificates.

Clearance

All graduands are expected to clear ONLINE with the respective Departments of the University by Thursday 29th October 2026, failure to which their names will be struck off the graduation list.

Academic Attire Issued

The attire will be issued from respective schools beginning Thursday 29th October 2026 (during working hours) upon full clearance and payment of graduation fees.

Graduation Rehearsal

The rehearsal is an integral part of the ceremony and all graduands MUST attend the rehearsal on Wednesday 4th November 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Main Campus.

Return of Gowns

All graduands are expected to return the academic attire by Monday 16th November 2026. A penalty of KES 500 per day shall be levied for any attire returned after the deadline.

Payments

All graduation fees and any other charges, including gown penalties, MUST be paid through eCitizen. Payments made through any other channel will not be recognised.

Graduation Fees

All graduands who have met the requirements to graduate shall be required to pay graduation fees as follows:
