The walk commenced at the Multi-Purpose Resource Centre and traversed key areas of the University, providing an opportunity to engage staff, students, and members of the surrounding community on the significance of national values and principles of governance.
The sensitization exercise further extended to the University’s Main Gate, where participants engaged members of the public, including public transport operators, on the importance of fostering harmonious relationships with students and the wider University community. The engagement highlighted the need for mutual respect and cooperation, particularly given that many students reside within the surrounding community.
The walk concluded at the Multi-Purpose Resource Centre, marking the culmination of a successful awareness campaign that reinforced the University’s role in promoting constitutional values, national unity, and responsible citizenship. Through such initiatives, Karatina University continues to nurture a culture of inclusivity, national cohesion, and good governance in line with its commitment to inspiring innovation and leadership for sustainable development.
