Extension of Deadline for Registration of Courses

EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION OF COURSES FOR SECOND SEMESTER 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEAR

The second semester began on 8th March 2021. Thereafter, timelines were issued to all students through a memo Ref: KarU/Regards/1/Vol.6 dated 25th  March 2021. The deadline for courses registration through individual student portal and printing of Examination Cards was issued as Friday, 30th  April 2021. Subsequently, analysis on status of online courses registration show that some students had not registered at the lapse of the deadline, despite that the Learning Management System records indicating that they have been attending classes.

The University is cognizant of the financial challenges caused by advent of Covid -19 pandemic, and as such, dates for extension of online courses registration will be communicated in due course. To this end, students are advised to ensure they clear their fees balances as soon as possible and take advantage of the upcoming extension of online courses registration. Of importance to note, students who will not have registered at lapse of the extension will be expected to defer their studies. This will consequently have ramifications on the students Government funding cycle.

Kindly expedite and be advised accordingly. Thank you,

Dr. Wangari Gathuthi
