Over the weekend Karatina University handball women’s team (Tigress) participated in the quarter-finals of Kenya Universities Sports Association (KUSA) League 1B games. The games took place at Meru University. The handball team won the league undefeated. The team members appreciated their coach Mr. John A. Mutua for guiding and mentoring them throughout the competition. Speaking after the game the coach attributed the team’s success to a consistent culture of discipline, handwork and teamwork among the students. The nationals will be held in April 2024 at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
