My name is Esther Waiganjo, I graduated in the year 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Human nutrition and dietetics. Currently an intern at AIC Kijabe Hospital
My responsibilities include formulating feeding regimen for patients in the wards, conducting nutrition education and counseling patients with different conditions and assessing nutrition status of children.
Have had the opportunity to attended family conferences with different families who need help with tube feeding at home and worked in the Covid-19 ward to offer the appropriate nutrition support. I also conduct health talks in different clinics among others tasks.
I am grateful Karatina University and particularly Food science and nutrition department for holding my hand throughout my stay there.
