The Department of Mathematics at Karatina University recently hosted a Mathematics Locus Mentorship Session on Saturday, 14th February 2026, at the University Library. The event is part of the University’s ongoing commitment to providing structured academic and professional guidance while strengthening engagement with partner secondary schools.

The session brought together high school students, teachers, faculty members, and University student mentors for a day of interactive learning. Students were guided on academic excellence, problem-solving skills, university preparedness, and career pathways in mathematics and related fields. University student mentors provided peer guidance, sharing their experiences and insights to inspire the mentees.

Meanwhile, teachers participated in a capacity-building session on integrating AI in mathematics teaching, equipping them with innovative strategies to enhance classroom delivery.
