Karatina University, through the Department of Business and Economics in the School of Business, successfully held its 2026 Corporate Day on 7th May 2026 at the Conference Hall under the theme “Creative Careers, Strategic Partnerships, Agile Graduate.”

The event brought together students, faculty, industry leaders, and professionals for a day of engaging discussions aimed at equipping learners with practical strategies, entrepreneurial mindsets, and career agility required in today’s dynamic job market. Participants had the opportunity to interact with distinguished speakers from diverse sectors who shared valuable insights on career development, innovation, strategic partnerships, and emerging opportunities for graduates in the modern economy.
Among the keynote speakers were Brenda Kerubo Koech, who spoke on transitioning from ideas to execution and creating opportunities beyond formal employment; Dr. Dunstone Ulwodi and Mr. Cyrus Munyua, who discussed preparing business graduates for current and future job markets; Samuel Ngugi, who addressed entrepreneurship among graduates; and Nyevu Karisa, who encouraged students to intentionally build their careers rather than rely on chance.
