SUBJECT: CLASSES ATTENDANCE FIRST SEMESTER 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR
The First Semester for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students commenced on Monday, 19th August, 2024; whereas 1st years commenced classes on Monday, 26th August, 2024.
However, this morning we have bad disruption of classes.
This is to bring to your attention that today Wednesday 18th September, 2024; the Employment and Labour Relations Court of Kenya in part ordered as follows: That, the University Academic Staff Union (UASU) is temporarily restrained from calling, instigating, or inciting others to take part in any strike or other form of industrial action; and that the parties to continue negotiating with a view to resolving the dispute issues consensually.
Consequently, all students are hereby advised to attend classes as scheduled in their respective time tables without fail.
