Karatina University has entered into a strategic partnership with KCB Foundation to support and advance the KARU Employability Centre. Facilitated through the Directorate of Resource Mobilization and International Programmes, the partnership marks a significant milestone in the University’s commitment to enhancing graduate employability and responding proactively to evolving global demands.
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing global disruptions, institutions of higher learning are increasingly challenged to rethink their role in preparing graduates for an uncertain future. Karatina University has taken a deliberate and forward-looking approach through the establishment of the Employability Centre—an initiative designed to reimagine the future of work and learning.

At the core of this initiative is the Karatina 360° Employability Matrix and the KARU Graduate Profile, which emphasize the development of critical thinkers, AI-literate and digitally fluent graduates, ethical leaders, team players, problem solvers, and engaged global citizens.
Through this partnership, KCB Foundation will support the University in strengthening programmes and interventions that equip students with relevant competencies, practical skills, and adaptive mindsets required to thrive in a dynamic and sustainable economy.
The collaboration reflects a shared vision of nurturing graduates who are not only employable but are also innovators and system shapers capable of driving socio-economic transformation.
