Karatina University students participated in the Kenya Universities Performing Arts Association (KUPAA) music festivals held from 17th to 22nd March 2024 at Technical University of Mombasa. The event attracted 32 different universities and campuses in the country that participated in the competitions and our University emerged the best with 21 trophies.
Our students showcased in various categories ranging from music, dance and elocution
The team emerged winners in 12 categories, runners up in 5 categories and 1st runners up in 6 categories, a total of 21 trophies. This makes us the highest ranked institution in the country in the music scene. The students were led and conducted by Mr. John Alphonce Mutual who is also the Vice Chairperson of the Kenya Universities Performing Art Association (KUPAA) and the Choir Director at the University.
